WES

The process to do WES (do it electronically — faster than physical process) :

1. Find out if your university/college has a digital partnership with WES.
2. How to find if your ur college has a digital partnership = call WES (8003613106) and ask if your university has a digital partnership with them, they will let you know.

If Yes, then — you can reach out to the registrar or controller of examination in your university/college, ask them to send the softcopy of transcripts and WES reference id through email to WES (the email has to be sent through official email id of the registrar/controller of examination )

If No, then — you can ask the registrar/controller of examination to send an email to WES asking to set up a digital partnership ( I will attach the email format below which you can send to university/college ).

Within this email, the university can attach a softcopy of transcripts/degree and WES reference id.

I want to get my ECA done with WES and for that, it’s necessary to have a digital partnership with the organization to send the soft copies of the transcripts electronically via email from the official email address of the university.

I had contacted WES on behalf of the university to gather information about what all info is needed to have the approval of digital partnership. Below are the mentioned email body details which are required to be sent.

From: {email address of Registrar office or Examination Controller}

Subject: Regarding approval of Digital Partnership with WES

{ Title of the official (SENDER) }

{ Department of the official }

{ Name of the institution }

{ Contact Number }

{ Name of the candidate } ( your name )

{ Enrollment Number } ( clg enrollment id )

I would like to receive the approval for the digital partnership with WES on behalf of (your name,) an alumnus of ( college name )

Note: — I would request you to add my email in BCC such that I can keep myself in the loop in the process and can get my evaluation done at the earliest.

There are two types of evaluation:

Document by document and course by course ( SJSU accepts both )

1. Doc by Doc — u can do it with basic or ICAP

2. Course by course — u can do it with basic or ICAP

Pricing:

1. Doc by doc basic — 145 or 150 dollars
2. Doc by doc ICAP — around 195 dollars
3. Course by course basic — 200 dollars
4. Course by course ICAP — 250 dollars

Difference between basic and ICAP:

• Basic means the WES will not store your info in their database, so if you want to apply next time u might have to pay more to send it to other universities.
• In ICAP they store your info in the database and it will cost you minimal if you want to send your WES evaluation to any other university which requires WES.

( NOTE — all universities do not require WES evaluation, so if the universities which you are applying to apart from SJSU does not need WES, I would recommend going with basic as it will cost you less)
